Collage Project

Collage 1: I chose to focus on the principle of design 'Emphasis' for this collage. I chose this principle because I found it much more interesting to use for my collage then the others. All of my photos in this collage focus on Emphasizing the girl (Keira Mullen) in regular settings as-well with the cards it focuses on them from a different angle and overall, these photos all seem to work well together and focus on the idea of Emphasis.

Collage 2: I chose to focus on the element of art 'Colour' for this collage. I initially chose to do colour because at first I thought it would be easier or more simple but as I started to take the photos the more difficult I found it but I also stared to enjoy taking these colour photos. My photos all have bright colours in them that sort of drag your eyes straight to the object or lead you to the main subject of my photos.

What I learned: I learned that composition was about arranging elements in the frame to make a visually pleasing image and that visual communication was using the elements of art and principles of design to send a message or feelings to the audience.
