The first triptych is called "Path through the redwoods," the second triptych is called "Under Wraps," and the third triptych is titled "Spark".

For "Path through the redwoods" the idea behind it was to take three different pictures, the two on the sides where zoomed in and the one in the middle was more zoomed out. I was inspired to take this triptych in a redwood forest with my dad while I was out of town for a few days.) The "Under Wraps" triptych was inspired by the inspiration pictures given to our class. I wanted to do something where it was able to tell multiple stories depending on the viewer, however the story I was going for was along the lines of someone blocking off what they feel or trying to put up a wall to block people from getting to close to them.) For the photo "Spark" it was inspired and focused around the 'good in the bad' or 'the light in the dark' sort of metaphors. I wanted the viewer to focus on the middle bulb as-well as noticing the darkened bulbs.

I believe I successfully created three triptychs. all of my triptychs are three separate photos that when looking at them on there own they don't look that great however when they are together they make a visually pleasing image.

In "Path through the redwoods" I used the element of . In "Under Wraps" I used the element of space. In "Spark" I used the element of .

In "Path through the redwoods" I used the principal of . In "Under Wraps" I used the principal of emphasis. In "Spark" I used the principal of Pattern & Repetition .

I zoomed in slightly more on the sides of "path through the redwoods" to try and make it seem more zoomed out in the middle photo. For "Under Wraps" I edited how bright/dim the lighting was and cropped out either the upper half or lower half of some of the images to fit the idea better. In "Spark" I adjusted how zoomed in the photos where and tried to make all the light bulbs look identical.
